As a tribute to the ocean liners of the past, the Costa Fortuna was built in the legendary shipyards of Sestri, near Genova. She is the sister ship of the Magica. The motto of this ship is "first class" and this is reflected not only in the refined furniture but also in the elegant decors. The public areas are decorated with reproductions of advertising images from the turbulent 1920s and 1930s, with posters by transatlantic Michelangelo and Raphael. In the lobby you will find scale models of 26 old ships that were once part of the Costa Cruises fleet. The thirteen bridges are named after international ports. The Costa Fortuna distinguishes itself from the other ships in its new standards of quality and hospitality for the ultimate holiday feeling, regardless of the destination or the season. And four swimming pools – one with a retractable roof – whirlpools, a slide, open decks, a casino, a disco and the Rex Theater 1932 also contribute.
