The Norwegian Jewel is a large ship launched in 2005 that has since undergone several renovations. As the first vessel in the Jewel class, it was christened by Melania Trump. The ship features a classic, serene atmosphere in its restaurants and public areas, allowing you to relax and enjoy your cruise vacation both indoors and out. Additionally, the Norwegian Jewel offers passengers a wide range of dining options and eliminates the need for fixed dining times or formal dress codes.
There are various dining options available on board the Norwegian Jewel. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the two main restaurants: Azura and Tsar’s Palace. These restaurants offer a diverse range of meals with a changing menu every day. For French cuisine and classic French dishes, head to Le Bistro; dining here incurs a small additional fee. At the Chinese restaurant, you can enjoy fresh noodles, delicious wok dishes, and authentic soups. Can't get enough of Asian cuisine? Visit Teppanyaki, where chefs prepare various meat, seafood, and chicken dishes right before your eyes (a surcharge applies). A surcharge also applies at Moderno, which serves Brazilian-style salads and steaks. You can also sample Italian cuisine at La Cucina for a small fee.
There is plenty to do on board all day long. Sports enthusiasts can play various sports on the sports court or swim in one of the pools, while those looking to unwind can visit the spa or the Jacuzzi. You can also enjoy a quiet read in the library or use the Internet Café for a small fee. Furthermore, you can indulge in some shopping while your children have fun in one of the kids' clubs. In the evening, you can try your luck at the Jewel Club Casino or sing your heart out in the Karaoke Lounge. Alternatively, catch one of the spectacular shows performed on various nights at the Stardust Theater—such as "Band on the Run," which transports you back to the atmosphere of the 70s. Enjoy a drink at the FYZZ Cabaret Lounge & Bar, which features three private karaoke rooms for small groups. The Spinnaker Lounge overlooks the ship's bridge; in the evening, there is live music and the space transforms into a dance floor!
