Cruise Port Amsterdam is easily accessible by car, tram, train and boat.
There are also plenty possibilities for loading / unloading and parking. See below for directions.
By car:
From Utrecht/Amersfoort
Coming from the direction Utrecht A2 and Amersfoort A1 follow the A10 towards Zaanstad to the exit 14 Centrum, Artis, IJburg exit. At the end of the exit lane, turn left. Follow this road and go straight on at the first and second set of traffic lights. You will enter the Piet Heintunnel. At the end of the Piet Heintunnel get into the right-hand lane and turn right towards Centraal Station at the traffic lights. Continue along this road. Turn right at the second exit (traffic lights) for Cruise Port Amsterdam. The entrance to the Piet Hein parking is situated in front of the terminal.
From Zaandam
On the A10 from Zaandam follow the E35 signs towards Amersfoort/ Volendam to the exit 14 Centrum, Artis, IJburg. Then follow directions as described above.
From Schiphol International Airport/ The Hague (Den Haag)
Coming from the direction Schiphol/The Hague follow signs ring road A10 towards A10 Ringweg Zuid. AT the Amstel junction follow the A10/E35 towards Amersfoort. At the Watergraafsmeer junction follow the A10/E35 towards Zaanstad until exit 14 Centrum, Artis, IJburg. Then follow directions as described above.
Public transport:
Arriving at Central Station you will find the trams when exiting the building to the city centre. Here, you will also find tram 26 (IJtram) that passes the terminal frequently (take the first stop). You can also walk from Central Station. It is a 15-minute walk to the Cruise Port Amsterdam. Take the northern exit (opposite city centre) and turn right. Walk along the waterside and you will find the terminal at your left-hand side after having passed the bridge.
Taxi:
You can also take a taxi. Taxis are located in front of the Central Station at the city centre side. Taxi rides from Central Station to the terminal will cost max. €15.
By boat:
CPA is also easily accessible by water. Event Ships can moor at the 600 meter quay at the IJ directly behind the Terminal for getting on and off of your guests. In front of the terminal is the newly constructed Zouthaven where canal boats can drop off your guests at the door.
