When you have the opportunity, we advise you to travel to the terminal by public transport.
The cruise terminal is close to Amsterdam Central Station, about a 15-minute walk.
When you leave the train station on the north side (side of the IJ river) you turn right and walk in an easterly direction.
You will probably see the cruise ship in the distance. The entrance of the terminal is next to the Movenpick Hotel.
Besides traveling by foot, you can take tram 26 in the direction of IJburg, get off at the first stop “Muziekgebouw / Bimhuis”.
The tram leaves from Central Station (front left side) around every 10 minutes.
The terminal is easily accessible by car and the parking options are well cared for.
Plan your trip in advance via a route planner to avoid any traffic jams.

You can travel to and from the terminal of Cruise Port Amsterdam by taxi.
The taxi stand is in front of the terminal, you can wait in line or pre book a taxi.
A taxi ride to the train station should costs between € 7.50 and € 12.50.
Please note: a ride from or to Schiphol costs between € 40 and € 60.
