SCARLET LADY

Virgin Voyages

Scarlet Lady is the sister ship of the Valant Lady and the Resilient Lady. Virgin Voyages’ ships are called ‘Lady Ships’, a nod to Virgin’s British roots. The bow of the ships is decorated with the design of a mermaid with Virgin’s logo, inspired by the ornaments of historic ships. There are more than 20 eateries on board with the feel of a regular town with restaurants open at all times of the day. Only adults are welcome on the Scarlet Lady. 86 per cent of the cabins have a balcony, called a sea terrace, and 93 per cent have sea views. The ship includes a silver-grey bow with smoked glass and Virgin red accents, including a red chimney. Highlights of the suites include retro-futuristic designs with luxurious accents, vinyl turntables (with a collection of classic records), hammocks on the terrace, full bars and the option of cocktails where the first round is on the house. All 78 RockStar suites are located on the top decks of the Scarlet Lady. Besides the usual suites, balcony cabins, outside cabins and inside cabins, the Scarlet Lady also offers group cabins. Guests travelling in a group can book a chalet-style cabin with four bunk beds. There are also cabins specifically designed for solo travellers.
